Race City Motorsports Park has been Calgary’s premiere venue for automotive sporting events since its inauguration in 1985. Either after this racing season or the next, Race City will close permanently in order to make way for the demands of a growing Calgary. With no replacement in sight, 'Goodbye Race City' looks at the impact this will have on a select group of enthusiast drivers.

About The Show

NUTV's summer "Doc School" program has been run once a year since 2003 (with "off" years in 2004, 2008 and 2010), producing original short form documentaries by individual NUTV members trained, workshop-style, in documentary filmmaking.

Doc School provides its participants with valuable skills and experiences through workshops and meetings with film and TV industry professionals over the course of a 4-month term.

Several of the documentaries have been featured in film festivals, some have won awards, and others, still, have been aired on television by major Canadian broadcasters.
