NUTV offers members technical training and access to our television equipment. Practical, hands-on experience is provided in many areas of television production including: reporting hosting camera sound mixing lighting AVID editing graphics editing with After Effects
The first step in becoming a NUTV member is to visit our offices at the University of Calgary upstairs
in MacEwan Hall around the corner from the ballroom.
One of our staff members will be happy to provide you with an orientation to NUTV.
Regular hours of operation are Mon-Fri 10am to 5pm.

Opportunities Volunteering 
Volunteering on projects is an excellent way for members to make industry contacts, learn the ropes and contribute to the success of NUTV.
Equipment NUTV is extremely fortunate to have industry standard equipment.
Cameras
We have two Sony DSR 300 DVCAM cameras and a Sony three chip mini DV camera with which we shoot the bulk of our production.
Edit Suites
We have two Final Cut editing systems, an AVID editing system and a multimedia edit system with which members can also create graphics and animation.
Training 
NUTV offers all members professional training sessions throughout the year, including orientation covering all of NUTV's production and post production equipment.
