Associate Producers

- Haley MacLeod
- Associate Producer
Haley MacLeod is very excited to be one of the Winter Associate Producers this season. Her passion for film and tv began when her house was struck by lightning, frying her computer, forcing her to replace it with one that came equipped with easy-to-learn editing software. Since then, she has continued to develop her skills through several promotional videos, and by directing her high school grad video. She has been an active NUTV member over the past year, contributing to 13 stories.

- Martha Affleck
- Associate Producer
We are pleased to welcome Martha Affleck aboard as an NUTV Associate Producer. Martha has been an active member since later summer, 2009. Her path to NUTV has been a long and arduous one. Growing up in northern Alberta, Martha once became lost on a family hiking trip for over a month. During that time, she was found and taken care of by a clan of travelling gypsies displaced after a long-running feud in Romania. It is believed she was trained in various warrior arts by them. Upon returning to her family, she quickly found life in mainstream society unfulfilling, and longed for a nomad's existence. She left home, and for a time, performed with a circus troupe as a knife-thrower. After a dispute over pay with the promoter, Martha once again sought to break away, and fell into a life of crime in order to survive. She is believed to be responsible for a number of high-profile cat burglaries across North America, but was only caught when betrayed by one of her fly-by-night accomplices during a daylight pawn shop heist. At her trial, the judge handed down a lenient decision based on the extreme circumstances of her childhood, and Martha was given a suspended sentence, pending her compliance with the law, and her completion of a Fine Arts degree, within a specified probationary period. Part of the deal struck between the judge and Martha's defence counsel was that she also complete a community service term loosely related to the field of her studies. NUTV has gracioulsy taken her on as an AP in order to fulfill this condition, and help Martha rehabilitate and re-integrate into mainstream society. We wish her well.
